Expertise includes biotechnology, vaccine development, nutrition, protein isolation, veterinary pathology, aquaculture, bio-energy, veterinary science, microalgae, bacteria, yeast, molecular biology, microbiology, and related areas.

F. C. Thomas Allnutt, PhD is the President & CSO of NuLode LLC, a small business focused on new technology development and commercialization. He has experience in industrial research and commercialization of the new technologies either directly or through support of other businesses. Expertise in algal and microbial biotechnology with broad knowledge of related areas. Inventor on >17 patents issued or pending and published >45 peer reviewed papers. His previous positions were as CEO of BrioBiotech LLC, Sr. VP R&D at Phycal Inc., Program Director for the National Science Foundation’s SBIR/STTR Program Biotechnology Group, Research Director at Martek Biosciences, (now part of DSM) and VP R&D at Advanced BioNutrition.
Virginia Pierce, VMD, is Vice President of NuLode LLC. She has broad experience in veterinary pathology and animal biology. She worked as a veterinary pathologist and the laboratory director for the State of Maryland's animal diagnostic laboratory in Frederick, MD, for 19 years, fully retiring in 2021. Her career track involved rising to a Vice President of Research & Nutrition at the Philadelphia Zoo (10 years total service), Executive Director at Tri-State Bird Rescue (3 years), Executive Director of International Alliance of Oiled Wildlife Responders (5 years).
The company is grateful to an active group of advisors that have broad experience and insights that help improve the company. While these are unpaid positions, these advisors have stepped up to help with problems that arise over time in the development of a small business.
William E. Marshall, PhD - President of Immunom Technologies, Inc. (Naples, FL). Immunom has developed and marketed a direct fed microbial, LactORN, that is an immune modulator. Dr. Marshall has broad experience in agricultural biotechnology from his years of experience at Pioneer Hi-Bred where he developed proprietary feed ingredients that improved animal health which he spun off to create Immunom.
Robert A. Bullis, DMV -
Bob has over 30 years of experience in the development of diagnostic, research and educational programs in aquatic animal health and marine sciences. He recently retired as Professor of Biology from the College of the Florida Keys. His previous positions include the Veterinarian at Woods Hole, Executive Director of the US Marine Shrimp Farming Consortium, Director of Animal Health and Regulatory Affairs & Director of Aquaculture R&D at Advanced BioNutrition.

Principal of AREA Properties, LLC, a real estate consulting and brokerage firm, with a BS in Finance and MBA in International Business. His prior experiences include VP Business Development, BrioBiotech LLC, Vice President of Boston Properties, and Marketing Manager for McCormick Properties.
Hao Chen, PhD - President of DRI Biosciences Corp. Dr. Chen brings broad experience in biotechnology and small business expertise. His prior experience includes VP of R&D at Perkin Elmer, VP of R&D at Caliper Life Sciences, VP of R&D at NovaScreen, and Research Director at Martek Biosciences (now DSM).
